I bring a wealth of knowledge, legal acumen and a creative bent to solving difficult disputes and lawsuits, but the real answer to "Why Me?" is my passion and authenticity.
In addition to more than 30 years of wide ranging litigation practice, I have over 17 years experience as a mediator, co-founded the North Carolina Civil Collaborative Law Association, and have provided continuing education to professionals in negotiations, mediations, collaborative law and other areas.
I have mediated multi-party, high-exposure and emotionally challenging construction, personal injury and wrongful death cases in addition to mediating business, real estate, insurance and trust and estate matters and more.
